As from Wednesday 01st February all nationals applying for a Schengen visa to France need to apply to the embassy in person.

- Passport valid for mininimum of 3 months beyond the validity of requested visa. - 2 clear pages in your passport - UK Residency permit valid for minimum of 3 months beyond the validity of requested visa - Completed application form - 3 Passport photos - Letter from your employer explaining the nature and duration of your business trip to France and stating who is responsible for the expenses - Letter of invitation from the host company in France Proof of Travel - Confirmed Flight booking or Original Eurostar Tickets - Proof of Accommodation in France (This must come directly from the hotel in France) - Original 3 months bank statements, showing positive balance of minimum £55 per day in France and salary being paid in - Travel Insurance which must be valid for france - Last three months payslips |

Multiple entry visas are issued at the discretion of the embassy. Applicants who live in Scotland or the Isle of Man must apply at the Embassy in Edinburgh. Applicants whose residency is "loose leaf" and not stamped in the passport will be rejected. UK visa must be valid for a minimum of 6 months and must also be valid for a minimum of 3 months beyond the expiry date of the French visa applied for. |
